Friendly team. Dr. McHugh has treated both of my children and my work family’s children.
The staff are nice and some of the best orthodontists people i had ever met but...when I got my braces done they were in such a rush. I get it you're busy and stuff but one of the staff hit one of their tools against my tooth and it chipped and still hurts to this day. I once broke a bracket and had to go back the same day, when the lady worked on it, she was trying so hard to get me out of there as quickly as possible. Had to take my teen sons n for evaluations, which may include jaw surgery and/or braces for them. The Dr patiently took us through the process, showing pictures and xrays to help connect the dots. She assuaged my fears when the topic of surgery came up. I appreciate that they want to wait and confirm the boys are finished growing before taking next steps. They were informative, patient and kind.
For the most part everything was okay until it came to the payments which is pretty important since ortho is so expensive as is. I am actually a dental assistant and I think the situation is pretty crazy. I Actually got in the mail an invoice showing that my payments were complete and the statement said NOTHING AT ALL About the fact that the insurance balance was not complete yet.
