Great Japanese steak house.
First of all, the service was good... They were on top of every detail. However the food wasn't very good. Very salty and the lobster and beef were overcooked. It's quite loud there also.
We go here at least once a month because even on their worst days (which are rare) they’re able to consistently prove they’re the best hibachi in St. Louis.

Very disappointing experience at Kobe Steakhouse in Westport Plaza. We were visiting from out of town with a party of 10 and wanted to place several orders to go. We were told they do not allow to-go orders on weekends, even though this policy was not posted anywhere that we could see. We asked to speak with the manager, who told us they could cook the exact same food for us if we sat at the table, but we would not be allowed to order it to go. That made absolutely no sense to us.
