I do not know what these people are talking about. Certain things happen whenever any restaurant gets busy. It does seem that many of these reviews are old. Kobe's has made many improvements over the years, one of which is to service staff. When there is no rush there, we have always had our food within 5 to 10 minutes of ordering. If we arrive when a group of people are there, it might be 10 to 15 minutes. This is a great family ran business that try their hardest to give the best service they can. Not so much... – I used to come to this place RITUALLY in 2007...and I'm assuming that it got under new mgmt...which skyrocketed the prices...and lowered the portions & the taste value. I always like to give places that I used to love another try...and today was the day...and...still...not so much....the Sushi was rolled very well..the price of 12-16 quarter size rolls $9.50. Great food and good service – We went on a Tuesday night at 7PM there were only a couple people in there. The service was great, probably because it was practically empty and the sushi was amazing! I didn't think it was that pricey compared to other sushi restaurants. A specialty bigger roll was $9.99. After reading the other reviews it may be better to go when you are not in a rush.
Ladybug got it RIGHT!! – The service is the same as the other review (literally chase down anything that you want or need). My co workers and I went a few times a week that was until they changed the cook, menu, selection, and prices.Dont get me wrong we still go occasionally and the food is good but you cant change something (less selection and higher price) and expect people to keep coming. Amazing food, Service will cause a monk to cuss – Sushi is fresh and the bento boxes leave you thinking about them at 2 am. The service is a different story. Most recent experience: A coworker and I went at noon. We were told to seat ourselves. After 10 minutes of neglect I got my own menu. We ended up flagging down a server and he took our order.
