I stayed here hoping for a relaxing beach vacation, and while the location is undeniably beautiful, the experience itself was just okay. The room was nice and the views were great, but for the price point, I expected a bit more attention to detail in the service. It’s a decent place if you just want to be near the water, but it didn't really blow me away.

Ko’a Kea Resort is your best option in Poipu if you are a couple without kids. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well designed, with a relaxed boutique-resort feel. The property is smaller and quieter than some of the nearby resorts, which made it feel more personal and peaceful. Pool area could probably use a glow up The staff is world class. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Ko'a Kea! The resort never felt like it was crowded and we were able to walk to the beaches easily. The pool area was solid with a nice view of the ocean and we really enjoyed the drink service from the pool bar.

We booked this place through chase travel as it is listed as one of only a few options for Edit hotels. Don’t expect many of the perks here such as early check in, room upgrades or late check out as the staff are incredibly inflexible. This hotel also does not have a beach so don’t be fooled by the photos. This place is basically a glorified motel 6 near the ocean. Spend your money elsewhere. Staff seem overworked and rude especially the front desk.

The property is old and not cute. You’re definitely not getting value for your money. Not great on hospitality and the food just bland. Would not recommend for a valuable Kauai experience.
