The hotel itself is nice, it’s small enough not to feel like a huge resort, you can usually find a sunbed by the pool or on the lawn towards the ocean. The rooms are spacious and clean, but a bit dated. But for what you pay, it is far from what you’d expect. It is in no way the luxury resort where you pay 600-700$ per night for the cheapest room. This is a brilliant resort. A quaint facility but top notch overall. One minor hiccup with our room but was solved. Overall, I’d definitely come back here. A beautiful view, pool, turtles, seals, whales, surfing, and snorkeling. You can do it all.

Staying here was a dream come true! My husband and I stayed here for our wedding weekend. It was quaint, quiet, and the customer service was superior! The view from our room was beautiful. The rooms were also very clean and they refilled us with new water bottles every day (the little things). We will stay at the Ko’a Kea every time we return to Kauai.
