Get directionsThe rooms were nice and we got lucky our ocean view was a direct view rather than a technical “ocean view” from the side, beach access was easy and just a couple minute walk. However being blindsided by $50 resort fees and $40 parking fees DAILY at checkout is something I am not pleased with at all considering the price that was already paid upon booking. This did not happen when I stayed in Maui recently so I was not expecting it.
Overall, our stay at the Ko'a Kea was fantastic. The location is excellent, with great shopping nearby, outstanding restaurants, and a beautiful beach where we saw seals, sea turtles, and some great surfing. The resort staff was incredibly friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I loved my time at the beautiful Ko’a Kea, a gem on Kaua’i with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spacious, clean, and close to everything, especially to Kala Kai pool bar, the firepits, the beach, and Red Salt restaurant. The staff were very courteous and housekeeping was excellent. We were a little disappointed that the hotel didn’t prepare anything for our honeymoon celebration—expected... read more
Came here for our babymoon. We've never been to a resort before, so we didn't know what to expect. The staff were super nice, accommodating, and professional. Incredibly close to Poipu beach. Hoku sports provided gear for the beach and was able to do some snorkeling! Will recommend to friends.
