Physician Associate Jack Callaghan was wonderful; incredibly knowledgable, performed a thorough examination, listened to all my concerns and referred me immediately to the appropriate specialty. I didn’t once feel rushed, and left feeling well looked after. A real asset to the surgery.

Just gone back to my original GP had near passing out problems twice recently wouldn’t expedite cardiology referral been waiting on NHS appointment since January!!! I’m under Christies they told me to ask the GP for this but nothing not even asked in to see GP was sent a text for hospital appointments to chase up myself!! But because referral wasn’t urgent it’s a 53 week wait!! I’ve paid out privately yet again crazy

I had a recent health scare last week and from beginning to end I could not fault the staff at Manchester rd and Knutsford hospital for their quick response to my needs and appointments. From the first call to the Macclesfield appointment took 4 days ! Luckily all clear, but a credit to all involved as you hear so many stories of long list etc. Manchester rd have always been prompt in triage and appointments so very happy with the excellent service given.

Can’t fault them swift response to email request then appointment same day. Compared to some other surgeries this very good. Only slight issue is 8-4 only to make appointments online but I suppose they have a logical reason for this. But otherwise outstanding.

Trying to get an appointment is a “Kafka like” experience. I was effectively told by the receptionist that if they used a simpler process they would have too many appointments - they would not be able to cope. So the system is designed (made difficult) to reduce appointments? The doctor, after a telephone consultation, had told me to make the appointment! In frustration, I ended up getting a private GP appointment, so I suppose the system works (for the surgery)?
