I recommend starting off with calling the Urgent care department to see if they can handle your ailment. I was experiencing advanced respiratory symptoms and was pregnant. The urgent care team advised to go to the ER. They gave them a heads up I was coming. The ER team was great. They were kind and the Med Tech was very observant and thoughtful. Val was my nurse and was very punctual. The entire team was able to get the EKG and triage me very efficiently. The NP I saw was considerate and had a nice bed side manner! I even wa... read more

They don’t care about you like they should at least the pella ER gets right to the bottom they at least take there time to understand you WAY BETTER than the Knoxville ER they suck with there patients I would advise who ever goes here good luck cause they don’t care if your life is on the line. Will NEVER go there ever again if it was life or death I would drive to pella to be seen they are so ruthless at the Knoxville ER.

Tonight we had to come back as he got hives again and his airway is swollen. We were waiting until about 9:55PM and ... read more

Brought my lethargic son in shortly after his 2nd birthday for a 104° fever that wasn’t responding to medication, cool baths, anything. They made me feel like a complete idiot saying ‘we don’t worry about fevers’. When he was 1° away from possibly experiencing seizures. Even the discharge nurse told us she would be worried in that situation. Will NEVER go back, I’d rather die on the 20 minute trip to the Pella ER. Absolutely ridiculous, lazy standard of care.
