(He has no known allergies) We waited for half an hour nobody was at the front desk and nobody was in the waiting room. I knocked on the glass nobody came out I also yelled for someone. I finally called the phone and finally someone came out so I hung it up and asked for help and they got us in a room right away. Brought my lethargic son in shortly after his 2nd birthday for a 104° fever that wasn’t responding to medication, cool baths, anything. They made me feel like a complete idiot saying ‘we don’t worry about fevers’. When he was 1° away from possibly experiencing seizures. Even the discharge nurse told us she would be worried in that situation. Will NEVER go back, I’d rather die on the 20 minute trip to the Pella ER. Absolutely ridiculous, lazy standard of care.
