I had a very disappointing experience at Knox Private Hospital. I spent about 20 hours in the Emergency Department receiving IV fluids and antibiotics, yet because I wasn’t “admitted” as an inpatient, I’m now out of pocket about $1,000. I was shocked to be told that the expenses would have been the same even if I didn’t have private health insurance – which makes me question the point of paying for private cover at all. Had surgery here and the doctors, nurses and facility was great. The ward post operation was very nice and clean.
Nurses have no problem insulting you here if you inconvenience them in the slightest
