I have been in the waiting room after being at urgent care (who called Knox and told them a possible Burst appendix). for an hour and a half so far . My wifes been crying in pain and Throwing up. No one here seems to care. Its unreal. I dont even know how to describe how discusted I am with this place. If something happens To Me I'd definately risk it and drive To a different hospital..
I had been scheduled for 3 procedures within a week's time; 2 on first visit and 1 on second visit. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Wait time on each visit was 15 minutes or less. Professionals performing procedures were attentive, knowledgeable and spoke in a way that didn't make me feel like a number running through a corral. KCH is, has been and will continue to be our hospital of choice.As for the 4 stars instead of 5, I rarely will say perfection as I feel there's usually always some area that can use improvement... read more
The staff were all polite. My visit went smooth and quick. I was pleasantly surprised by that!

I sould have given 5 stars, I'll tell you why I didn't. I have to take KAT aka **** area transit on a net ticket to all of my appointments because I do not drive. So my being late is not in my hands, however, if I arrive more than 15 minuets late not only have I lost my appointment , now I also have to pay for my ride. I believe KCH could mandate that their doctors are no longer allowed to no show a KAT rider, if you are late 3 times your doctor can chose to no longer treat you, this is very wrong. The services provided by KCH of the best I have experienced. Without a doubt, the people at this facility put the patient first be it the doctors to the housekeepers!
Since moving to the Mt. ****** area almost 5 years ago, we have been very satisfied with KCH. So much so that almost all our practitioners have eventually been changed from the Johnstown area where we lived previously to KCH-affiliated. Doctors are very competent and the connection with their ************ which is close by, is excellent. In fact, it is convenient that most if not all the offices of affiliated practitioners are proximate to the hospital. Parking is easy and appointments are generally on time.
