Despite good reviews and recommendations, I recently discovered that the septum I had pierced here last December was done through the cartilage instead of the “sweet spot.” I did not know until another piercer informed me when changing my jewelry. I’m not sure why this was done but from my understanding the cartilage is not supposed to be pierced for a septum. Due to this I have significant difficulty with changing my jewelry.
