I listen to the individual to best identify the problem they are experiencing. I am well versed in multiple sclerosis and chronic pain issues in particular, but all areas of diseases affecting the nervous system concern me. I utilize state of the art diagnostic tools, adapt treatment strategies to the individual and make referrals to physicians I would go to myself, if needed. My practice is fee for service; individual submits their bill to their insurance carrier for reimbursement.

This is a 5 star doctor that saved my life. I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia and I got operated on at Jefferson. He cares calls me to make Sure I am well and have been going for 15 years. He never pushed drugs On me and I take small doses of medicine! He is excellent listens and kind and caring office staff!
Dr Knobler help me from day one of meeting me. He told time out of your schedule to help address my pain issues due to trigeminal meralgia. The lovely office staff got me in as quick as possible. Dr Knobler takes the time out to meet all of his clients to find the best results. He has spent many extra times answering my questions His compassion is greatly appreciated. I would not have quality of life without this doctor or his lovely wife the office manager.
Dr. Knobler's clinical expertise is phenomenal. I had seen multiple neurologists in the tri-state area, none of whom could provide a definitive diagnosis. I had been living with level 10 pain for 3 years; my quality of life was basically non-existent. During my first visit, he spent nearly 1 hour reviewing my test results and an additional 45 minutes examining me and discussing my history and symptoms. Ultimately, he has controlled my pain without narcotics... and I have my life back!
Literally, saved my life! Others couldn't believe I was walking with the damage to my spine found by Dr. Knobler. (I think he was surprised too) I was told upfront what to expect at my first visit. I didn't expect a doctor who had spent hours with me, documenting my medical history, asked specific questions, and listened to my answers. He found a major problem, and referred me to one of the best for surgery. He's not close to where I live, but over the years he has proven to be worth the drive. Sometimes I have to wait for m... read more
this doctor is excellent in his knowledge and teaching ability and listens!!He saved my life and knows how to diagnose RSD/CRPS in any stage or place. Also great for MS. Made my quality of life so much better and pain levels down majorly., but does take time- he is great at rational polypharmacy. Worth every penny he charges. Worth saving up for first appointment, saw me for two hours, others for hour an half. do not bring too many things all on the first visit. Just films or CD's and latest blood work. He diagnoses you withou... read more
Avoid at all costs!!! – Dr. Knobler has been prescribing fentynol, oxycotin, percocet and numerous other pain killers in extreme amounts to people coming from Altoona, PA. His prescriptions are responsible for having caused the death of my nephew and damaged countless others lives by overdoses and the selling of his prescriptions by the people he prescribes them to. Someone needs to stop him!!!!
