I learned to knit from the folks at Knit New Haven and was introduced to whole knitting community through them. I now knit everyday, and it’s changed my life. Love knit night. They are a fascinating and diverse group at Knit New Haven. Super helpful. Great selection. Linda and co will everything they can to help you. I’ve been to yarn shops all over, including in other countries, and few compare. It’s not just a yarn shop; they’ve worked hard to build a sense of community. Love Knit night and hanging out. Highly recommend.
Stopped in for the first time this weekend. Amazing customer service, Extremely knowledgeable and was able to point me in the right direction with my crazy request. I can’t wait to go back again when I have more time to look around.

I always have a great experience when I shop at Knit New Haven. Today I walked in with a pattern in hand and was given great suggestions about alternative yarn choices that would work with the pattern. It's always nice to be acknowledged and spoken to when you shop and that is always the case at Knit New Haven.
I love coming into Knit New Haven. Their wool selection is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are very knowledgeable and help me with ALL of my many questions.
Kelly was very helpful getting my dropped linen stitch picked back up! Friendly and great service! Of course I had to add to my stash with a yummy purple color yarn!
