Got an application to try and get my family in somewhere before I become homeless and I got the application for an Administrative fee... They want $800 that's more than half of the rent cost which is $1200, what the hell is an Administration fee.. that's about what I would expect for a Deposit but NOT some non-refundable fee.. I'm going to be homeless with 2 kids because of apartments like this
Do not rent from here or any Douglass property for that matter. Our washer broke and it took months to fix. Finally after about 4 months they gave us a key to a vacant apartment to do laundry in. Well while getting the apartment “move in ready” they decided to throw away all of our clothes away including a majority of my 4 year old sons. When confronted they admitted to throwing away but said sorry nothing we can do, shouldn’t have been doing laundry in there. They have nearly doubled in rent in three years. The frequency of of rent increases is ridiculous.
