We bought a house in Kingwood. Within a few months of moving in, we noticed that some of the doors were not opening and closing properly. I was having foundation issues, so had several companies come out for estimates, including Knight Engineering, who was the only company with an actual engineer doing the inspection. The ‘trained’ salesmen spent only 30 - 45 minutes in my home, without any questions or detail and gave me an estimate on the spot. These estimates, for extensive work and equally extensive cost, were all over the place. Knight Engineering Services did an excellent job installing piles under my house’s foundation. I appreciate the close monitoring during installation to ensure the slab was not over stressed. We had about 1.5 inches of settlement of our foundation on the side near the greenbelt. Now repaired to correct and prevent further issues.
