The bar, which is one of the oldest in all of Indiana, has polished wood trimmings, gilt mirrors, ornate wood carvings and terrazzo floor giving an authentic turn-of-the-century feel. As indicated by the sign over the bar, which says "Enter as strangers- leave as friends", the bar staff is friendly and efficient. The bar serves a variety of drinks and quite a few local beers. The place also regularly hosts live music nights.
