Kneading Dough Bakery/Jug and Rose Eatery are in the old stone building on Main Street, just steps away from the St. George Hotel and the Volcano Union Inn. While noshing something yummy, make friends with a townie or a tourist, so you can get a lift back up the hill in time to catch the bus. Be sure to buy a bag of Nana's cookies to munch on your ride, or share with your driver.

Amazing assortment of delicious pastries and breads! Daily breakfast and lunch offerings too. Well worth a trip to Volcano!
What a treat! We came here for breakfast and then again for lunch. The breakfast souffle was very flavorful.

Love the little town of Voilcano! I visit the bakery when I visit my family in Sutter Creek. All their pastries are so good....and the regular food choices, too.
I had heard good things about KDB, so while in Volcano this morning I stopped to buy a lemon bar and a raspberry almond bar to carry home. YUM! So so so good! �
