I love KMS tools. I started woodworking about four years ago and love it. Anytime I go to KMS the staff are always knowledgable and helpful. Jay in woodworking always has time to explain things and show me the proper tools and items that I need for the project I’m working on. Check it out. It’s a great place.!
Not a welcoming experience at all. I drove nearly 50 minutes to this location, only to be treated unprofessionally and with disregard. The cashier staff was polite, but my interaction with Cass in the hand tools section was very disappointing. She appeared uninterested, spending most of her time chatting and laughing with another customer while I waited to ask a simple question. Maybe this review doesn’t directly concern this particular store, but since this store sells Milwaukee products, I’d like to share my experience. I purchased my Milwaukee impact driver here, and after about two years of use it stopped working. I was very disappointed that Milwaukee’s service center refused warranty repair, claiming that the tool had been previously opened by me. One of the few Canadian owned and operated tool/hardware stores in this city. Great prices and selection of tools, parts and stuff you didn't know you needed. Store is massive and can be overwhelming. I find if I know what I am looking for, to order it online and pick it up (they offer this for free!). Even if they don't have it on hand they'll bring it in for you, just like the good ol' days. Location is a bit rough but it's right off Glenmore and easy it get to.
