Poor layout, staff at exit have to hold you up when you're leaving because of the dumb middle of store checkout, sold me a faulty product (shirt with hole in seam) and their website was buggy and their email support was completely unhelpful. Many of their home brand products (anko etc) are overpriced, cheap and nasty.
Genuinely the rudest staff. Younger customers especially teenage girls are clearly profiled, followed around, forced to leave bags at the door, and accused of shoplifting for no reason. I’ve been kicked out just for browsing. Staff also tried to control what we were allowed to buy, refusing to sell clothes to my younger cousin because they said they were “girl clothes” and decided he “couldn’t” wear them. A few workers are fine, but the behaviour of the others makes this store completely unwelcoming.
While staying in Wang we needed a few items so popped over to Kmart, great prices, friendly staff especially Margie, who has worked there for decades, she’s a treasure and knows everything about the store and actually loves her job, thanks Margie see you next time we are up your way.
Great customer service! We were running late for a click and collect order and after we called ahead Harry made sure that our order was waiting by the door ready for us to pick it up 5 minutes before closing. Thanks, you made our camping trip so much easier!
All of kmarts anco range is of poor workmanship, it may look nice but at the end of the day they've become a overpriced $2 shop.
