We had klm build for us last year and we couldn't be happier. No house is perfect but they do their best to make it perfect and when it came to the one year warranty what ever needed to be touched up they were here and making it right. We loved our superintendent John L. He truly cares about you and the house he is building for you. Thank you John!! Jill and Brittany during the selections were also great and made the process fun! Please reconsider before building a KLM home. Our family was finished in May 2020. Just after being in our home a year the problems started. Shingles were flying off of our roof, roofing company came out & still continued to happen. After the 2nd time “fixing” a rain storm comes & we hear water. Our roof started to leak. At that time, we find out the roofing company used by KLM was under investigation by OSHA & refused to call us back. Those of you that go through a KLM model home or watch their home tour videos, be aware these homes are not what you will get. Here is a partial list of what you will NOT get in a standard KLM home. You will not get 10-foot ceilings, eight- or seven-foot doors, crown molding, tray ceiling, transom windows, tall baseboards, wood (they're particle board) cabinets in the kitchen and baths, backsplash, nice sink, built-in appliances, refrigerator, garbage disposal, range exhaust hood, cabinets in laundry or garage entrance hallw... read more
A nice quality built home and we've had one in the past in spring Grove... However now we are ready for a ranch style and there is only one model to view nearby.... Otherwise we must travel from one end of a suburb to another and that is terribly time-consuming and frustrating.. we shall continue to look around
