Dr. Kleiner is an excellent doctor. He is extremely thorough, he keeps excellent records, and listens to any concerns you have.
He is rude and inconsiderate! For years every visit wait time is at least 3 hrs before getting into exam room. His excuse is the switch to electronic medical records sorry but your behind the times and if you planned ahead you would be ready for the transition and once its together it should ve easier. They do not know how to schedule appointments and he is losing out on money with spending this much time with each patient and being behind 3hrs so he is not very smart. Totally agree with the wait time..ridiculous.. He over books because he is greedy..Then when your waiting in the examining room for him to show up..you can hear him through the wall talking with his other patient about utter nonsense that has nothing to do with their illness. Its a wonder my blood pressure doesn't hit the roof. The amount of care you get depends on how good your insurance is..He also has you come in for VPMDs which actually is a mini visit between regular visits.. I totally agree with the previous person. After 15 monthly visits, I have waited between 2-3 hours every month. He enters the exam room saying " sorry for the wait." so he is aware he has over-booked. I have taken the 1st and last appointments and still waited 2 hours. I am in the process of changing drs. Dr. Kleiner is thorough but he needs to respect his patients' time. His office staff is pleasant enough but unable to correct his office scheduling problem.
Plan to wait in his office for a minimum of 2 hours. Definitely do not be surprised to wait 3+ hours. He may be a good doctor, but neither the doctor nor his office care if you wait for this many hours. It is utterly ridiculous in this day that a doctor could operate this way for years and years. Why not simply book less patients? I have waited less to meet royalty. Find another doctor if you wear a watch or have a life.
