When my horse suffered a choke episode this weekend, I got Lauren Kleine's # from a friend who highly recommended her. I made the call expecting to be told that I was too far away, or that she didn't make emergency house calls for new clients, as many veterinarians don't. However, to my surprise and relief, she answered the call & spoke with me for a long time about my horse's symptoms & condition, and offered to come out right away to check him out.
