I was a patient of dr drinkard for many years. She served like a good doctor. Then she retired and made no provision to help her patients find a new doctor. I didn't know the reason for her retirement. Perhaps there were extenuating celebrities, perhaps not. Still, she was affiliated with another doctor who was also retiring. That Dixie did have some recommendations although none were taking me patients. I do feel it was dr drinkard s responsibility to help her patients find a new doctor.

I thought a Dr takes an oath to “do no harm?” Maybe she skipped that part. She was wonderful the first several months and then referred me to a place that specializes in an area of medicine that had nothing to do with my issues. I thought my new insurance would not cover her practice but I was incorrect. But she dropped me as a patient using that as an excuse. It’s been a year and a half, I still don’t have the care I need. Dr. Drinkard is an excellent Primary Care physician who pays close attention and tailors her care to the individual's needs and preferences. She is very respectful and works with her patient to provide the best health care possible. You can always question her advice without fear of a defensive reaction on her part; she is willing to discuss alternatives, and to explain her recommendations fully. She also provides written notes of each visit and interaction, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend her.
