Get directionsI honestly debated writing this review because the techs that have come have been nice and respectful. However, that in my experience, is where the professionalism stops. I had mini splits installed three years ago and they worked great for the first year. Since then, they hardly work. We've paid for maintenance on them and have had multiple visits to have them back to original working condition and it just never happened. Scheduling never seemed like a priority. It was kind of whenever they got around to it. I had messaged ... read more
We woke up this morning to our hot water tank leaking all over the downstairs of our house. At 6am we called a different 24/7 emergency repair company and they said someone from my local office would be out to look at it. At 1:30pm they arrived and quoted an extreme amount of money to replace it. Which we really could not afford. Starting to panic we made phone calls to see what other options we had. We were put intouch with Kevin of K&J Comfort. He was at our house within 2 hours of our call, quoted us an affordable price a... read more
Warning: Avoid Kevin Rafferty with K & J’s Comfort! I want to share my unfortunate experience to warn others. Kevin Rafferty took over 7 months to install a new heating and cooling system and never completed the work. Despite multiple calls and texts, he never responded. Now, I'm left with an incomplete system, missing items that I paid for, and out thousands of dollars. To make matters worse, Kevin has blocked my number and refuses to communicate. This isn't the first time he's done this to his customers, and I'm taking leg... read more
I was camping at the Lake George Escape outside Warrensburg and developed a water leak under my kitchen sink in my RV. I had gone to Home Depot to purchase parts, and quickly realized I had no idea what I was doing and that the parts I purchased were the wrong ones. I ran into Kevin, the owner of K&J's Comfort Inc., outside the campground store. He commented on my Grand Design t-shirt, and I mentioned that I had a water leak and was looking for parts. He responded by telling me he was in the business. He was at the campgroun... read more
Going to try to keep a long story short… My boiler was shot, Kevin showed up, got me a great price and the SAME day he picked up all the supplies and said he will be here all night but will get me up and running before he leaves. That he did, him and his team got to work. It was refreshing that the goal was to get our heat running again so when the kids get up for school they have heat. You don’t see the type of dedication anymore, they left at 2am. He made a promise and kept it. Also, the extras Kevin and his team throw in ... read more
