Fabulous experience at Kizuna. Sushi chef and owner BJ is proficient and a master sushi chef. Must reserve as small restaurant with limited counter seating. Omakase is $150,& you definitely receive good value. Although the omakase changes depending upon what is good and in season, our meal included succulent Fat Bastard pacific oyster, Chawanmushi, Dry aged salmon (3 days), Squash with yellowtail wrapped in nori Kampachi (amberjack), etc. Dessert (which I did not think was included, was Japanese cheesecake. 5 stars because it really is that good!! I've had fresh omakase before, but the dry aging has amazing flavor. It is a must try!!
Third time I have been to Kizuna and it gets better every time! You won’t regret coming here, the relaxed and intimate setting combined with the unique dry-aged flavors makes this a must visit every time we are in NYC. Our favorite this time was the kanpachi
