Kiwanis House is an island of security in a sea of upheaval and stress! What a blessing to have this place to stay at when you are tossed into an unknown city with a sudden medical emergency. Many many thanks to all involved in this wonderful place!
This is a very special place.. Family set up and pay by what you can afford.. Family cooking areas... Free food if needed... Rooms decorated with bedding and etc. donated from community.. Safe and also free shuttle to and from hospital.. Free parking ... But mostly the staff is kind and sweet!
An amazing place when a loved one is in the hospital and you need a place to stay. The set up meets all your immediate "home" needs.
My dad stayed there when I had surgery to remove a vary large tumor.
My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks when our daughter stayed in NICU. We needed a miracle and this house was it. The staff was friendly, the directors were so wonderful! Thank you so so much. I don't know what we would have done without it.
Loved staying here when my daughter was in uc davis. Staff and everyone was very friendly.
