This review is more for the staff than anyone else. I waited to write this review so I could write a honest review start to finish. This was our first time ever visiting and unfortunately it was because our almost 11 year old German Shepherd was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. We lost our Rusty boy on 9/25/25 and we are devastated…. He was the kind of dog that makes you think you can have 10 Shepherds… the boy who is legit a one of a kind. We cannot thank the amazing team at the Kittrell Animal Hospital enough for taking such wonderful care of our rescue dog Machango. Since we found him, this poor guy has become blind in both eyes and we were really worried for him. With the help and reassurance from the caring and knowledgeable employees at the hospital, we are excited that he can continue living his best life! We highly recommend the Kittrell Animal Hospital!
In response to Kittrell Animal Hospital's reply to my review, let me clear up some mistruths you wrote about our conversation Saturday following Chance's untimely death. Not one time during our conversation did you say Saturday's can be extremely busy and there are times pets cannot be added to the schedule & are often referred to an emergency care facility. Kittrell Animal Hospital was the absolute nicest people I have met. They were very peaceful and serene with my cat. She stayed calmed and her problem was resolved in a short amount of time. I felt like my fur baby was loved and cared for in the best possible way to help her feel better. Thanks to all the staff, we will be back to see y'all real soon!
At first, we loved this place, now, not so much. They do not answer the phone. Went one day recently and doors were locked and no one responded. A FedEx delivery person was served at a side door while we sat in the parking lot. Went back later that day and they said they had been there all day. They also seem to never have the medicine we need. Now looking for a new vet for our 3 dogs.
