Worst camping experience in my life. Large groups played music until 5am and not a single staff came around to enforce the rules. Seems they clearly know of the complaints and issues. And don’t care. Overpriced and we are expecting a full refund.
I’ve been coming here for years, staying at many different sites, and every visit has been enjoyable with my close friends and family. I’ve noticed that some reviews mention noise, and yes, I’ve experienced it too. Over time, I’ve come to realize many campers come from big cities where nature is limited they come here to have a good time, which can mean music, laughter, and late-night fun that lasts until dawn. We took a canoe trip from Matamoras to River Beach. The trip was fantastic. Water was calm and the weather was perfect. The Kittatinny Canoes company took us from River Beach to Matamoras in a shuttle. The canoe was already waiting for us. We got a short safety and navigation breathing (mostly about river current shifts and how to avoid shallows) and went on our way back to River Beach.
