While the care is excellent, no one picks up the phone when you call. Truly annoying when trying to refill prescriptions or trying to make an appointment
I went to this OBGYN to get a bump looked at that I was worried about. I saw Dr. Nelson and she was very rough and didn’t communicate at all during my examination what she was going to be doing and didn’t seem to care about how I felt. I was asked if I was okay with a student and I told her I wasn’t comfortable with someone else in the room, she then failed to tell me there would be someone else in the room and another lady walked in. My wife and I called to make a appointment and were refused service. When they were checking our insurance they said if our insurance didn't cover us we would have to pay out of pocket which is no problem. So when we wanted to make a appointment and pay ourselfs because our insurance has no providers here we were refused and told it would be fraud for us to pay ourselfs. My guess is they can't overcharge insurance so they don't want to provide medical service.
Very pleased with my first visit to this practice, and the Poulsbo office worked great for having evening hours to get me in. Michelle at the front desk was so plesant and welcoming to me. The medical assistant was also very friendly and nice to interact with, apologies for spacing on her name. But let me tell you - Dr. Marriott, is a gem! I was listened to and wasn't rushed during my visit...I felt both seen and heard. Such a huge relief! I am so glad to have started my care with Kitsap OBGYN.
