I recently had an incident where I dropped my stanley cup directly onto my mouth. I had soreness and pain and Dr Houser fit me into her schedule and took a look. She was very gentle and thorough and reassured me that there was no injury to my tooth. Alicia did my cleaning a few weeks later and she was so kind! She listened to me and was very gentle. I informed her that I had temperature sensitive teeth and she was so compassionate and offered me a non invasive topical desensitizer so I would not feel pain. It was wonderful. ... read more

I had been a patient at Kitsap Dental for at least 2 years since moving to Poulsbo. I was happy with the staff and dentist, although I did notice that the dentist I started with, and the hygienists in this office changed at one point. Both teams were great. However, this year I’ve had two scheduled appointments that were disappointing. First one was for my 6 month cleaning earlier in the spring. ★☆☆☆☆ I had been a patient at this office and was generally satisfied until a billing dispute involving a night guard. Before treatment, I was provided with a written estimate showing that my insurance would cover the cost of the night guard. Based on that information, I agreed to proceed and paid the amount I was told was my responsibility. 6 Months later, I received a text stating that I owed hundreds of dollars. I arrived before my appointment time, but the dentist was over an hour late. What was even more frustrating was that several patients who arrived after me were called in before I was. The lack of communication and respect for patients’ time was very disappointing. I would not recommend this clinic if you expect appointments to be handled fairly and on schedule.

All I need to say is this place only cares about money. We waited for over an hour for a 15 min chair sit talking about how our insurance won’t cover a root canal or extraction when I damn well know it does. This place is a money grab and does not care about its patients I’m praying for all the people who choose to use this service. If you want a good place go to Viridan Oral and Maxofacial they care about their patients and is not a money grab.
