Since 1991, I have had the opportunity to redesign how and where individuals work. Over the last 20 years, I have applied those ergonomic principles to the kitchen. Using 'universal design' principles, people returning home from traumatic injury, knee or hip replacement, or those using a wheelchair; can have their homes assessed and modified according to their abilities.
