I worked with Erik for design services for our kitchen and 2 baths. I had several concerns and requests that Erik thoughtfully incorporated into the design models. Our biggest issue is that our kitchen and bath spaces are very small and we needed to maximize every inch without looking cluttered. We had the severe misfortune to invest tens of thousands of dollars for a kitchen remodel with KBS. We had to step in to become the PMs because the project was not being managed. The workers would sometimes come and leave within minutes because there were no materials to get the work done and therefore nothing for them to do. A project that should have taken 3 weeks has now stretched out across almost 4 months. I absolutely do not recommend this business. Our neighbors unfortunately hired them, and we were able to witness firsthand the lack of professionalism and poor quality of work throughout their kitchen project. The crew repeatedly left construction trash sitting outside for days without pickup. We also observed workers arriving at unpredictable and inappropriate hours, including late evenings, to drop off materials. Extremely unprofessional, especially for a family with small children. Brian is exceptionally easy to work with. He listened intently to what I envisioned and created a design and picked materials that brought the vision to life. He also explained the remodeling steps thoroughly and instilled confidence in the process. Exceptional designer.
