We had their "famous" corn & crab soup. More corn than anything, couldn't taste any crab. Fish sandwich was too expensive not to be on a good bun. Also, had the blackened mahi and shrimp. It was decent. The service was very good and the bread pudding looked awesome. We won't be returning to this restaurant.
Worst meal I had on the island. Will never return
Solid great dining experience as usual. Yes I do miss the old location at the marina, but the food and service was prompt, tasty, and the atmosphere was clean and tidy, although a little bit louder than expected once inside. All of the staff there seemed happy and was noticeably having positive interactions with the customers. Not only did the meal taste great, but the portions was comparable for the price. So overall, a win win deal. Will call again!
ordered a "Pick 2" to-go with fried shrimp and snapper (which came with an upcharge), and it was a massive disappointment. For the price, the portions were tiny—I only received 5 shrimp and 2 small pieces of fish. To make matters worse, the fish was terrible because the blood vein wasn't even taken out. Completely unacceptable quality control. I won't be ordering from here again. This was a call in order and I am a local. Ok, our waitress was really trying... It was a slow time around 3 in the afternoon. However, I'm 62 and my husband is 57... She kept referring to us as "boys"... I guess to flatter us? It wasn't working. I mean just say "gentlemen" or "guys"? Then, the food came. If you have the option of picking up some Mrs. Paul's shrimp at Publix and pair it with some Zatarains Rice and Beans, you'll top their food.
