I just got a missed visit bill, Laurie never called and claimed she did. She then argued with me that she doesn’t even need to. Also she didn’t remove visits that she moved and said I called and canceled. I said no you called me and moved it earlier. You charge $75 a visit and this is what you get at the front desk. Someone arguing with you charging your insurance for a missed visit that they never confirmed with you. The doctor was lovely she needs better office staff.
Dr. Kitaj is such a caring neurologist, and will not just write you a script and forget about you. She is there, concerned, tweaks your protocol appropriately, and really listens. If you've ever been to the ER for a headache, Dr. Kitaj will make sure it never happens again. If you have an emergency on the weekend or after hours, she will actually call you back immediately. Laurie from the office is the least helpful. I feel brushed aside every time I call and they are very quick to dismiss me as a patient and leave me feeling helpless. Very hard to get in contact and actually speak to the doctor as well
I had decades of migraine and generalized pain. Because of Dr Kitaj I have been headache free for ten years.
After searching for a neurologist for my son with ADHD, I was happy to find a Doctor in network. There was some misunderstanding about the appointment date they said the 8th- I had noted the 13th. I was pretty desperate to reschedule, but the woman I spoke with was so dismissive, and flat out nasty - I wanted nothing to do with this facility.
