Make sure if you want a custom home plan you hold him to what he says he is going to do. I was referred to him by my in-laws who had their home built in the early 2000s and in 2025 he still has the same plans at what he offered them 25 years ago… pretty outdated. When I let him know that I wanted to change things up to make it more modern he let me know that I could make as many changes as I needed, so we ended up going with him as we had a custom project… after about a 3 month process of him “making changes” to things we di... read more

Had a really bad experience overall with the drafting. Mrs. Kissinger was very pleasant on the phone and we didn't do any design things with her so I can't speak to that. The drafting process and especially communication was extremely frustrating to us. He seemed to take little to no interest in designing our house with the specific things we wanted (which was the reason we wanted it drafted instead of just picking a plan). Before you finalize your blueprints, MAKE SURE it is everything you want. You will be told that your builder can “figure it out”, but your builder is going to build it exactly how the prints are written. I am pleased with the majority of the plans, but that was after I had to push for what I wanted.
