I have been seeing Kirsten for 5 years now. I initially reached out at a very low point and Kirsten became an immediate comforting support, she went out of her way to accommodate me at a financially stressful time so I could keep attending sessions which I felt was a pure act of kindness and care. Kirsten is a very warm and intelligent psychologist who has helped me feel whole again through EMDR and CBT. I'm very sad that I have to move overseas because I don't think I'll find another psychologist like her!
Updated edit: after I made this google review. I actually received a friend request from Kirsten Mackenzie on Facebook. A short time after this she deleted it. I dont know her intentions by looking me up on the internet but it is completely inappropriate and so unprofessional. I reached out to Kirsten after self referring through work and she seemed best suited to my needs. Right from beginning, Kirsten was understanding, empathetic and compassionate. Kirsten does not sugar coat and only works to get the best for you and out of you. I would highly recommend Kirsten for anyone that feels like they are up against it. Simply the best!
