She is aware of alternative health care methods and respects my efforts to look at those as possible aids. I feel confident Dr. Novak will continue to be my primary care doctor.

I am not the kind of person who gives negative reviews often. If I had not had several negative issues at each appointment, I would not be writing this. First I want to mention the positive: Dr Novak is good at knowing what she does not know. If there is something she doesn't feel comfortable consulting you with, she will usually refer you to a professional who does, but it takes initiative on your part to make sure you get the care you need.
