Edit to update: another company came out to fix the green in my pool. Turns out the pump had been turned to service mode & left on that so it was not producing chlorine like it should have been. Since no one in my family ever touches the pump I can only assume the technician turned it to service mode to clean my pool & then forgot to turn it back to normal, or even check it for 3 weeks.
