​I recently stayed at Kirra Surf Apartments and left with mixed feelings. On the one hand, the stay was made very pleasant by the genuinely friendly staff and the stunning views from the apartment. The views of the ocean and coastline are absolutely breathtaking and were the definite highlight of the trip. With the view of the ocean we were lucky enough to see whales swimming off the coast. I found our stay at Kirra Surf Apartments pleasant. The lady at reception was lovely. The view is absolutely beautiful. But the building really needs to be renovated. Our apartment we stayed in, in particular, needed a deep clean. The second bathroom had hair all around the ground, and when I went to have a shower the handle fell off, there seemed to be rust everywhere, and everything was wobbly (ledge for shampos etc). The kitchen was good, but the dishwasher has no where to put your cutlery, I found that very strange. So w... read more

We absolutely loved our stay at Kirra. Amazing view. The apartment was brilliant with everything we needed. Safe and secure parking. Lovely pool. We look forward to returning in a few weeks.

Worst place I have ever been to and would not recommend it to anyone..my sons room was so dirty to the point were the floor was so greasey that we slipped on it..everything smelt like old fat and oil..furnishing were dirty..He tried to speak with reception twice and they wouldn't change his room tried to blame the humidity..he was booked in for 7 nights and left on the 2nd day due to the aborant smell and filth and went elsewhere..he lost alot if money as they would not refund him anything..

We stayed in a lovely room overlooking the beach. The apartment was spacious and clean. Restaurants and shops are 10 min walk. Coolangatta main beach 20 min walk. Only issue was we had 2 private pools (not ours) just outside our windows where other families swam from 7am! We couldn’t open our blinds as they would be looking directly into our bedrooms.
