We absolutely loved our stay at Kirra. Amazing view. The apartment was brilliant with everything we needed. Safe and secure parking. Lovely pool. We look forward to returning in a few weeks.
Worst place I have ever been to and would not recommend it to anyone..my sons room was so dirty to the point were the floor was so greasey that we slipped on it..everything smelt like old fat and oil..furnishing were dirty..He tried to speak with reception twice and they wouldn't change his room tried to blame the humidity..he was booked in for 7 nights and left on the 2nd day due to the aborant smell and filth and went elsewhere..he lost alot if money as they would not refund him anything..
We stayed in a lovely room overlooking the beach. The apartment was spacious and clean. Restaurants and shops are 10 min walk. Coolangatta main beach 20 min walk. Only issue was we had 2 private pools (not ours) just outside our windows where other families swam from 7am! We couldn’t open our blinds as they would be looking directly into our bedrooms.
We had a fantastic time at Kirra Surf Apartments in April 2022. The apartment was really clean, very comfortable bedding, had everything we need including the absolutely amazing sea views. Donna and her team was so nice and helpful as well. We will not be staying anywhere else but here, when we visit the Gold Coast again! Highly recommend!!!
Stayed here a couple of weeks ago and was very disappointed. First off the lobby/ corridor to the lifts smelt horrible, like something had died! Then our apartment was scented with what smelt like an Indian meal which lingered our whole stay. The apartment did not feel clean - grease on the stove top and dust on the window sills. One of the bathroom lights/fan was so clunky and loud when turned on. They also only provided sheets (in winter!) and the duvets in the cupboard were dirty/ smelled.
