Home owner I have used Kirkwood Glass (KG) on three occasions (shower doors, custom cut mirrors and windshield replacement). I'll admit I didn't shop around for price on the first two items because I wanted a quality job done and I got exactly what I paid for. Although my walls were out of plum KG cut the glass to compensate for other contractor mistakes and the shower doors fit perfectly and feel solid. Wonderful to deal with!!! By far the nicest glass people out there. True their price is a little higher but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I have never had an unplesent experience working with any of thier customer service reps and I have noticed that they all seem to know the most about glass than other companies. I can't imagine going anywhere else. They've been around years for a reason and it shows!
High prices This place is consistently the highest in price compared to other glass places. I called them myself for a glass quote and one other person I know also mentioned to me how high the cost is.

I'm sure the quality is good, and it's probably higher in price because of the location in Kirkwood, but unless you have a real reason for going there, I wouldn't and would shop around a bit more for a more reasonable price.
High Price Glass I know of at least three instances where my friends needed to purchase large replacement glass, and after shopping around/comparing price quotes- Kirkwood Glass was off the charts, being the highest price for glass, that any of us has seen. I recommend you look elsewhere, they will rob you blind.
