Rented a house just off campus for two full years while attending Truman. Overall the landlord was very nice and tried their best to help us out when our house had problems and even relocated us for a few weeks while our sump pump got fixed.
Overall okay place to live. The location is nice for Truman students, but I’d say that’s the best part about living here. You almost have to be aggressive to get work done on your apartment when something is wrong. Heating costs a ton because the insulation sucks and AC doesn’t cut it because you get one window unit for the whole apartment. Not bad if you want they typical “shitty first apartment” in college experience.
