Had my front axle completely changed almost 3 years ago . My own fault for not checking at time .. but with dodge 2500 its either 4.1 ir 3.73 gear ratio . Axle they put in came off 08 same year as mine . But if a further investigation was done , it would have been realized mine was a 4.1. Well now years later and wondering y things binding up another shop and finding out my rear gears are gone result of a front axle 3.73 and gear 4.1. . There is more ways then 1 to verify gears . We are new to using Kirkpatrick, but they were well recommended to us.
