Was there yesterday. Nurses are abusive; Lack accountability for their actions, ZERO compassion, or basic decency. Go anywhere but here.

Really bad hospital if u got more then a cold they ship u out anyway. No specialist. No surgeons. Nothing!!!!😡🤬🤬

I was at at Emerg yesterday September 2 and my wait time was acceptable and expected. Dr.Spiller was the doc in charge and he was awesome. Took time to explain and his manner was casual but professional. He has a good sense humor which I appreciated. Kudos to Blanche River Health on the awesome ED team. Honorable mention to the triage nurse. Kind, non judging and good disposition. She was busy but still smiled! Tuesday Morning August 26, 2025 I never give reviews for anything, however today I could not let my experience at the Kirkland Lake site of Blanche River Hospital go unnoticed. Small hospital that works hard to address local health care needs. These folks work extra hard as recruitment of health professionals remains a challenge. A group of under-appreciated but passionate people.
