I called to make an appointment to discuss some pain I was having. I get to the table and he walks in. He seems rushed and not interested. I get to the first 2 things. He rushed me and didnt pay attention just typed away. I say I have 2 more things. He stops me and says "4 is alot to talk about. everyone has multiple problems. You should go to a concierge doctor because they do longer appointments. They charge about $1,000 dollars." Never in my life, not even when I was in the military has a doctor told me that. Dr. Hutjens is really experienced and gives you the right advice. Tracy is always available and ready to help, the quickest way when you need a referral or anything! She is one of the best!!!!
I had the same " Abrupt and Focused on typing" experience with Dr Hutjens, but just because I was expecting a similar approach that I have experienced with my previous doctors, doesn't make him a bad choice for my doctor. I thought about changing to a different Primary, but a bit of patience on my part is probably needed and after another visit or two, I will decide as to whether to stay with him or change.
Dr Hutjens is a caring doctor. He’s very patient with you and explains things well and LISTENS to you. I highly recommend him.
