I've suffered from mental health issues since childhood. Kettering Behavioral Health was by far my best experience in mental health facilities. All the staff, especially the nurses, are there because they truly care. There I felt safe, heard, and understood. All the nurses took time to sit and just talk to me, like a friend. I was not forced to do anything I didn't want to do, and I could refuse medications or request med changes with no drama at all. Dr Chung is a very bad doctor for the patients at Kettering behavioral health miamisburg he should not be allowed to practice medicine with the patients in this facility. He does not listen to the patients, he ignores family members because he's locked behind closed doors and doesn't feel that he needs to speak with family. I am The advocate for the patient in there which is my spouse and Dr Chung has done nothing except set him back in his care. He ignored all of the orders from Dr Cian and the physician above him. I was admitted to KMH. Now that I’m home I was sent home some court ordered papers that want me to appear in court for mental problems. I’ve NEVER missed my meds in 19+ years. So when you seek help through mental health we’re all incompetent now.? I didn’t get it.? The nurses at KMH told me it was procedure. I was so happy to leave and was served these papers. Dr. Chung is a danger to the profession. He does not care about his patients. There were times when I would go to the ER and he would be the MD on-call....He would always decline to admit me, even though I was expressing suicidal ideations. He also treated me differently, because his wife is friends with my mom. Stay away from Dr. Chung. He's not a very good person.
