I hired this attorney because he told me about his expertise in the divorce and family law segment. As all lawyers this guy exaggerated and flat out lied. I couldn't have been represented by a more money hungry, incompetent attorney. I am sure he overbilled the hours he actually worked, came to court unprepared and at times seemed completely unaware of the details of my case. Maybe 30 years ago he was a decent lawyer, but by 2022 standards it doesn't get any worse. Stay away.

Don't waste your time on this "I just want to bill as much as possible" attorney. $500 an hour and he lost on every single issue we were trying to resolve in my divorce.

This attorney provides counsel to you solely based on what will provide the highest number of billable hours. Not what is the best course of action for the client. I see no reason whatsoever to retain this attorney. Find a more Progressive, honest, client friendly attorney. There are plenty of them out there.

I thismis a bittersweet review. Happy that he failed as it meant we won. But his demeanor is rank, miserable rude and unprofessional. He reeks of the constant cigarettes he smokes he never changes his suit and lost the case based on his court room demeanor. Don’t waste your time with this attorney there are plenty of other younger, more progressive, more professional attorney available for less money. Keep looking.

I unfortunately have had the misfortune of having my attorney recommend Kirk Bennett as a GAL. In my opinion, he does not work in the best interest of the minor child. Our child is not comfortable with him. And, certainly does not warrant the highest GAL hourly rate in the state $450/hr. Recommendation: Do your homework - look up his current and past clients and call them for personal experience.
