A Doc that listens and converses, not just check the vitals and tell you why he wants you to do. He is very personable and kind as well. Not in a hurry and was willing to hang around and listen to my questions and take the time to answer them. Then we had a conversation about what I needed to do to avoid him having to take my call at midnight. We discussed a plan and what works best for me and my lifestyle.
I had an emergency SCAD on 10/12/25. I was rushed to Atrium where Dr Slicker was in the Cath Lab. I am alive today due to Advents amazing EMT's and Dr. Slicker and his crew in the lab. I would highly recommend dr. Slicker to anyone needing a Cardiologist. He's very honest, straightforward, caring, explains things on my level, and truly wants the best for my heart health and overall health for the future. He's also amazing with the family.
