We had Laura design two different pool projects for us over the years (two different houses). It REALLY does make everything so much easier to have a cohesive design to submit to several contractors for bids, and the end product both times exceeded our expectations. Starting with the landscape design (not created by the person selling their landscape services) saved us so many heartaches and money too. Laura is the very best!!
Laura is very professional at rendering her services as a landscaping architect. Her designs are very organic based on the surroundings of each house. Laura possesses a very deep knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs beside her hardscaping layouts. I am a landscaper and have used her services for many of my projects.
Brought in for a landscape design - didn't follow directions - charged for "file enlargement" didn't provide a 3d design as discussed, charged 'extra time' when she walked around with a boot on for a bad foot, and provided a horrible mess of a plan with pencil drawing and print out of a shopping cart and a garbage plan impossible to follow let alone use
Laura is so knowledgeable. She listens to what you want and then lets you know what actually can be done. She is so nice and really just a fantastic person over all.
The old adage "one call says it all" applies here. I spoke to Laura Kiper on the phone today. She said she charges $175 for the FIRST VISIT TO YOUR PROPERTY and $60 for every visit after that. No estimates - draining our budget before she even sees the property! She repeated several times claiming she was very busy and booked for over a month.
