Kipara Village is not Kipara Rainforest Retreat, as far as I know. Kipara Village is a great place if you are working, such a pleasure meeting the most amazing people, and for the most part everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The staff have gone out of their way over the last five months to see my simple needs tended to promptly and are always very kind, Ill not forget any of them♥️. I was after last minute accommodation and had stayed here before 20 odd years ago and only part of the accomodation had been updated. It cost me $575 for the worst single room ever for 6 nights! The rooms are set in the midst of the forest literally and stank of mold and had a musty smell to it. There was mold on the bathroom walls and ceiling. Chunks of floor in the bathroom were missing. Massive let down. Never got to even view the room before moving in, just took it as we were stuck for a place and paid $1100 for 2 weeks for one of their “best rooms (pool view rooms)”. The kitchen counters were destroyed in burn marks, couch was meant to be blue but was black with dirt, bathroom handle was falling off. We were told rooms were serviced every Wednesday and comes ready to move in, but no cleaning for the pool rooms and we arrived at 8pm, no bed sheets or duvet and ended up booking a hotel for the first night b... read more
