My husband and I are obsessed with ramen and have been to most ramen shops in Chicago, and we absolutely love Kinton! There are so many options so we can try different meats with different types of broth, and their seasonal specials are amazing! Tonight we got Burnt Shoyu ramen special with yuzu honey hot tea and it was delicious and perfect for the cold weather. The service was also great!

Awesome ramen and atmosphere
The balls of grated is a game changer and supports the flavors of the bowl. You have the option to choose your noodle type which is always nice. Would dock half a point if I could just not a fan of the slight sweetness of the spicy broth. Edit: I was turned away from being seated 20 mins before close. If you're turning away one person seatings that far from closing adjust your hours. I previously gave you 5 stars. I can finish a bowl of ramen in less than 10 mins.
I hesitated to write this review because I’m always worried my favorite places will get too popular, but I’d rather have it be too popular than gone! I’ve never had to wait in any of the annoying lines to get into this place, but the soup always comes out piping hot and so delicious. The noodles are always perfectly al dente and never overcooked.
