DO NOT buy shoes from Kintec. I bought a pair of HOKA shoes for walking, they hurt my feet, cause blistering, and are unusable. Kintec's return policy for shoes is rigid, outdated, and not friendly to the customer. How am I supposed to know if a shoe that was recommended to me by them was going to cause blisters and discomfort to my feet? I certainly could not tell while walking around their store. Just bought a great pair of shoes for my wife, looked after by Alysha who was very knowledgeable and patient. The N.B. pair cost no more (and sometimes less) at Kintec than at many other sources - a pleasant surprise considering the exceptional service.
I had an amazing customer service experience at the Kintec Burnaby location thanks to Jamal. He really took the time to listen to my concerns, made me feel heard, and was very personable and easy to talk to —which just made the connection even more genuine.
