Been going to the Kinsmen arena for years and dropped in a couple weeks ago for a late afternoon public skate, still one of my favorite ice surfaces in Sherwood Park. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and quick to point you in the right direction if you're new to the schedule. Parking can get tight when there's a tournament going on, but it's rarely an issue outside of peak weekend hours. Overall the ice quality and atmosphere keep bringing me back, it's a solid community spot that's held up well over time.

Took my dog for a walk around Kinsmen Leisure Centre last Saturday afternoon and the staff at the front desk were happy to point us toward the shaded path along the outside of the building. The arena itself looked well maintained, and there was plenty of parking even with a game going on inside. It had a nice relaxed atmosphere outside, lots of other folks out with their dogs too. We will definitely be back next weekend.

Went for a public skate Sunday morning and the ice was in great shape, smooth and freshly cut before the crowds showed up. Been coming here for years and the staff at the front desk always remember the regulars, which says a lot about the place. Parking lot fills up fast once minor hockey games start, so getting there early around nine is the move. Overall a solid community arena that still feels well kept after all this time.
